This was a collaborative project to make places with meaning for local people in Raploch, Stirling. The scheme gives focal points of reference in an environment undergoing the radical reshaping of a regeneration area. Extensive consultation brought out themes from community history and folklore, which became the basis of the project.
This is a possible future project to develop a ceremonial landscape for Falkland in Fife.
MHLA acted as project managers to oversee the public consultation and delivery of the sound work at the housing estates of Kenton and Blakelaw in the west of Newcastle. The art project revealed the mysteries of secret bunkers, once the headquarters for 13 Group Command, through a listening trail. Collected reminiscences, archive material and interviews were made available at listening posts and bespoke benches.
