DUNOON: HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Supported accommodation for the housing association Fyne Homes was built on the site of the old Windsor Hotel, with a spectactular water-front location. The site included a large garden space, which was developed into a series of hedge-sheltered outdoor rooms surrounding a communal open space.
MUIRTON: HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

MHLA designed the housing environment from garden boundaries to streets, pocket parks to play spaces. This implemented the Greening Muirton masterplan developed in close collaboration with the community that was being rehoused in this new development. Novel road layouts were designed in collaboration with an enlightened council roads engineer. bespoke street furniture was used to give the space a unique character.
